A Special Day for Campeche šš²š½
On Friday, July 11th, something exciting happened in Campeche, Mexico. GK Foundation celebrated the grand opening of a brand-new dining facility at "Huerto de la IlusiĆ³n". It was a very special day, and we had the honor of welcoming Victor Sarmiento, the Secretary of Education for Campeche, who joined us in celebrating this important event.
But why is this dining facility so important, and what makes it so special? Let's find out!
Healthy Meals Every Day! GK Foundation Opens a New Dining Facility in Campeche
One of the biggest reasons this dining facility is so important is because it gives more than 300 children healthy and nutritious food every single day. Imagine having delicious meals filled with fresh fruits, vegetables, and proteins. GK Foundation understands that eating healthy helps kids grow stronger, learn better, and have the energy to play and dream big.
GK Foundation didnāt just build any ordinary dining area; we created a safe and comfortable place. The dining facility includes modern kitchen facilities, sturdy tables, and even special handwashing stations. These handwashing stations help kids keep clean and healthy, which is very important for growing bodies.
Why Does Campeche Need This Facility? š«āØ
Campeche is a beautiful region in Mexico with many amazing people, especially children full of dreams. But like many places in the world, Campeche has challenges. One of these challenges is making sure every child receives enough healthy food and a good education.
Some children in Campeche do not have regular access to healthy food. Without proper nutrition, it can be difficult for kids to learn, play, and stay healthy. GK Foundation recognized this need and stepped in to help, making sure children have the nutritious food they need every day at school.

Another important part of GK Foundation's work in Campeche is supporting bilingual education. Bilingual means learning in two languages. Why is bilingual education so important?

Did you know that GK Foundation is not just working in Campeche? We are also working hard in Honduras! In Honduras, we share the same vision: to provide bilingual education and nutritious meals to as many children as possible.
Just like in Campeche, children in Honduras are learning English and Spanish together. They enjoy healthy food every day, which helps them grow strong and ready to learn. GK Foundation knows that healthy, educated children can change the future of their communities and countries.
